Individual madness, in my view, is justified. There is just so much of the collective madness that a human mind can take in before retreating into itself for some sense of safety in building it's own world of ordered existence. The fact that it seems chaotic and inconcievable to others is irrelevant; who can say that their view is not corrupted with their own chaos?
